Erebos (Ancient Greek: Ἔρεβος)
He is the god of darkness. Its dense nebulae surrounded the edges of the flat earth, filling the dark places below. He is the son of the god Chaos. His sister Nyx (the night) led this dark veil over the earth every night, while her daughter Hemera (the day) drove the night away every morning. In Greek mythology, Eros is also the third child of Chaos (next to Nyx and Erebos) and personifies universal, all-encompassing love, the force that holds the universe together and overcomes dualism.
